Congratulations South Africa. That was a try though for England, if it had been given, things might have been different.
What's the rule when a player kicks the ball, with regards to the players way in front of him (ie: those near enough to where his kick lands)? How do they know when they can get involved with the play again?
Congrats SA. Not the best of games.

where you watching on itv?
they where saying - TRY TRY - ITS A TRY.
dickheads.
clearly just went over the line.

Otherwise, I think the team that kicked it have to have been ten metres in front of the catcher from when he caught it before joining play ...
If the kick touches the other team when kicked (as happened when SA kicked in the first half and an English player tried to charge it down) then the ten metre rule doesn't apply and the kicking team can go straight for the ball even if they were miles in front of the kicker when the ball was kicked - I think one of the SA props did this in the first half ...
I think those rules are right!

"South Africa will get nervesous thinking about wilkinson's boot, ........"
they didn't seem to bothered to me

just the way some of them act
the itv people didn't even look at the replays imo
they screamed it was a try from the touchdown
a lot of stupid people will be watching that and believing everything they say - resulting in a lot of drunk people b'tching tonight.
