Well done Cook. Man of the match.
Australia were terrible on last day. We goto Adelaide now and I see a similar result looming if everyone bats sensibly.
If the
Ausssie selectors start changing the bowling squad too much they will be in trouble.
Its going to be tough for all bowlers in Adelaide and both teams will have to step up and take catches through the vacant second slip position...boy, oh boy...what a horror.
Clarke???? C'mon man.
Cook, what the heck is this, he had a batting average of 23 against the Aussies coming to this Ashes series, it was touch and go whether he would even be selected! I despair! If you want to crown England then crown their butt! Australia had them and let them off the hook!

Yeah, tame pitches these days don't do much for test cricket.
Let's see a top order batsman scratch out a century as all around him struggle to get into the 30s - now that's what we want to see!

It'll never happen. The Powers That Be (Rupert Murdoch? The rat does seem to own all the broadcast rights all over the world) have decided that sixes are broadcastable and will draw in advertisers, and a good bowling out is not. I don't understand it, either.

I'd just like to see a test with a result... The past month has been dry except for the Indian machine.

I'd like to hear you say that in Inverness on a cold Saturday night, likely you'd be joining her 😉

This (second) morning will be important, anything can still happen .Anyone can win this matche and the ashes. There is no doubt going to be more rain in Oz this year, than normall, this should help the bowlers and results....
