Hehe, fabled indeed, though, I believe Denmark scored very high in international scholastic tests in the late 1970s or early 1980s...
Besides I never said superior. 🙂

How do you define intelligence? The standard three or nine?

BTW, Danish fans were my favourite during the Euro 2004. I went to see Denmark - Italy and Denmark - Bulgaria. Good fun was had. Arsenal fans, on the other hand, will be on my list until the end of the 2nd leg. 😉

Danish fans just want to get drunk and have fun. Oh, and you get to see Danish fans again in the Euro 2012 qualifications. Portugal and Denmark drew each other again. I hope we can cheat you of two victories again. 😉
We can discuss Arsenal and Porto after the second leg.

I think there's good evidence that shows that good results in a subject don't imply good results in another. That's why no quantitative measure of intelligence is perfect and just another reason for my dislike for reading too much from IQ test results (or similar).

What I meant is, do you think the human mind is unconstrained in any field or subject at all? Not that one mind is limitless in all subject, but that a smart person might be unconstrained in eg. math or theoretical physics?
Originally posted by LundosThat a theoretical limit cannot be found in practice, doesn't mean it isn't an important benchmark. Take Newton's law of universal gravity. for example. Considerable advances in our understanding of gravity were made by considering a law where two bodies interact in a theoretical limit where they are unconstrained by other bodies. Of course, in reality, Newton had no way to construct such a perfect unconstrained scenario but the theoretical approximation was not rendered meaningless because of it.
