I thought it was quite impressive how the players didn't even have to sweat in order to win from Japan. Affelay really should have made it 2 though...
We are going to win it this time. (I hope)
In the friendly games Holland got more space and that is why they scored more goals.
But for now I'm just glad that we have a good chance for the next round. And then we have to see who we meet and how far we will come this time.

BTW, after Denmark's victory over Cameroon just now (awesome game, those playing down football as a spectacular sport should have watched this match! - but an unfair result in the end) we are the first team qualified for the next round! Go Holland!

who knew john dahl tomasson could run for 85 mins? 😵

Man of the match: Rommedahl! For once a entertaining game for Denmark despite the awful play in the beginning.
Anelka is retiring.

Despite; a game with too many errors is rarely a good watch IMO. Sørensen did good (brilliant save), but Rommedahl was great and would have looked better if Thomasson had converted the big opportunities he was served. A matter of opinion of course.
Fifa really have explaining to do with some of the shonky decisions being made.
Australa 1-0 Ghana, yet a shoulder ball deemed as a handball leads to a cheap penalty and sending off....yet Addy managed o stay on the field after his offence...Australia should have been up 2-0 if the ref had awarded Harry Kewell a penalty early in the game.
Germany completely outplayed Australia, how ever it appears someone has had a bet on the outcome of this group...for how can it be explained the constant yellow cards until he sent someone off agianst Germany in their match against Serbia.
Aussies still have a sniff
