We are going to win it this time. (I hope)
To me it shows again how difficult it is to win when the opponant (Japan and earlier Denmark) plays very grouped and defencive.
In the friendly games Holland got more space and that is why they scored more goals.

But for now I'm just glad that we have a good chance for the next round. And then we have to see who we meet and how far we will come this time.

Yeah fair point, even Brazil had a hard time scoring against the much weaker N.Korea.

BTW, after Denmark's victory over Cameroon just now (awesome game, those playing down football as a spectacular sport should have watched this match! - but an unfair result in the end) we are the first team qualified for the next round! Go Holland!

unfair? it's not denmarks fault cameroon didn't take their chances. plus the danes missed a few themselves. great game, great ref.

who knew john dahl tomasson could run for 85 mins? 😵

Denmark vs Cameroon, Man of the match: Sørensen. The shot he saved around the 76th minute has to be one of the best reflex saves I've seen. Very exciting game, forget about all the tactics and the strategies, this was good old fashioned direct football.

Also, the Danes should have had a penalty when a Cameroon player blocked a shot on goal with his arm... but nobody saw it except for me.

I saw it too. I wondered why they didn't show a replay for that.

Denmark vs Cameroon, Man of the match: Sørensen.
Man of the match: Rommedahl! For once a entertaining game for Denmark despite the awful play in the beginning.

He played very well too, yes! He's my second choice. But if there was a lesser keeper than Sørensen, the scoreline would have been about 5-2 to Cameroon. Even with the shots on goal that Cameroon overhit, Sørensen was always covering.

Despite; a game with too many errors is rarely a good watch IMO. Sørensen did good (brilliant save), but Rommedahl was great and would have looked better if Thomasson had converted the big opportunities he was served. A matter of opinion of course.

Fifa really have explaining to do with some of the shonky decisions being made.

Australa 1-0 Ghana, yet a shoulder ball deemed as a handball leads to a cheap penalty and sending off....yet Addy managed o stay on the field after his offence...Australia should have been up 2-0 if the ref had awarded Harry Kewell a penalty early in the game.

Germany completely outplayed Australia, how ever it appears someone has had a bet on the outcome of this group...for how can it be explained the constant yellow cards until he sent someone off agianst Germany in their match against Serbia.

Aussies still have a sniff

You can see his arm muscles moving from the impact. I could understand if you were arguing for the handball being unintentional (although I disagree) but to say it was a "shoulder ball" is a complete delusion.
