True, but you don't get extra points for boring the other participants. Then agaiun, maybe you do. If you drag your games out long enough maybe some people will have quit RHP, or died of old age, before the next round. 😛
To last as long as I have against one of the heavyweights* of rhp is a great honour.

(* = in the Pie-Eating sense)

This site is too good for anyone to be quitting or dieing or owt like that.

More winging = more waiting in my book.

Edit - These are also the two games I look for first each time I login.

Interesting question is if I beat murrow in the last game and go 1.5-0.5 then will I end up matched up against someone who went 2-0 or 1-1?

It's pretty simple really. If you are the only player at 1.5/2.0, then if there are an odd number of players at 2.0/2.0 you will be paired with one of them (preference given for balanced matches start at the top of the standings). If there is an even number of 2.0/2.0 players you will play someone 1.0/2.0.

Generally.

There always room for pairings to generate maximum annoyance. 😛

As a 0/2 contender do I get an easier opponent next time? 😛

The position is utterly closed and I didn't see a way to mount an attack on murrow's position without weakening my position to the point where he would have an advantage. He offered I accepted.

My decision was also slightly influenced by the fact that this is a friendly tournament, if I really wanted (or needed) the win I would have likely played on but as this is just a game for fun I'm happy to accept a draw that murrow has earned.

If you go 0/2 in the first round, then you will probably play another person who was 0/2. You certainly won't draw anyone higher than 1.0/2.0 for the second round.
