This is the first tournament I have played so I'm not familiar with the format, & all the ins & outs, so I would appreciate advice. My opponent in round 2 has not moved at all and the time bank is almost depleted. What happens next? game aborted? will I get a by to r'nd 3 ? or get a new opponent for r'nd 2 ?
As far as I know, it will start as soon as the last game of this round ends. That might take quiet a while though, judging by how slow the last game is going.
I've been pretty busy... I'll try to pick it up a bit

The person I am matched up with has not moved in 105 days.......
It seems that both games were claimed on timeout by the same player or either they were given to him by an admin.
Not sure what happens with group 13. Both of them are timed out. Maybe an administrator will step in.
if time as ended in group 13, why as the game still in progress??

Since you claimed the timeout wins you will be moving on to round 3. Though if the game did not reach move 3 it shouldn't have affected your rating.

There is one game left playing. White has clearly lost and should resign so we can get on with the next round.

I was thinking the same. I have been finished for well over a month also.
why is there always 1 that drags it out for the rest?? my games were finished well over a month ago!
