Nodirbek Abdusattorov is a notable Uzbek grandmaster in chess. He was born on September 18, 2004, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He is recognized as the second youngest person to ever achieve the title of chess Grandmaster, attaining this honor at the age of 13 years, 1 month and 11 days.
Abdusattorov came to the public's attention initially when he defeated two grandmasters at the 2014 Tashkent Open when he was only nine years old. In October 2017, he achieved his third and final grandmaster norm at the Chigorin Memorial tournament, thus becoming a grandmaster.
Throughout his career, Abdusattorov has had success at numerous events. For instance, he finished in shared first at the 2017 Chigorin Memorial, and in 2018 at the World Youth Under 14 Chess Championship, he won the event. Later, in the 2021 Vezerkepzo tournament, Abdusattorov won the event outright.
In the world of correspondence chess, Abdusattorov is the current Correspondence Chess World Champion, making him the youngest ever in this field.
