Hi everyone,

I am a British citizen, who had been living in Moscow, Russia, from 1995-2013. I am an English (English as a Foreign Language) teacher, who is now living in the charming, ancient and historical city of Canterbury - the home of Canterbury Cathedral in southeast England. I am fluent in Russian and the Russian culture.

On the hobby/relaxation side: apart from photography - taking photographs of nature at work, when I go for walks in the woods, and countryside, I also enjoy listening to classical music, jazz, soul, funk, retro-pop music, and chanson.

Additionally, I have a real passion for food preparation, cooking, presentation + experimenting with salad dressings, marinades, herbs, and spices.

Regarding the fine game of chess...for me, it is no more than a form of pure relaxation, and an "intellectual" challenge. Let us all enjoy the game for what it is - win or lose.
