As I get older (I'm 50) I realize that I can handle the physical deterioration of aging. But I'm terrified that I'll lose my ability to think. So I'm doing what I can to exercise my brain. So started to play chess again (after a 30 year absence); I do puzzles (crossword, sudoku, cryptograms, etc); I'm teaching myself a foreign language (German); I'm learning to juggle; etc.
