I'm a twenty six year old coming to the end of a masters at manchester university, the city where i grew up. I've been playing chess since i was little but have never made an effort to really improve and become a good player. I'm rectifying that now, and am starting to pay more attention to opening theory, end game positions etc. My goal is to get good enough that i will never get beaten by virtue of obvious blunders, but just by superior chess.
