Have played on and off since I was a teenager when an acquaintance showed me how the pieces move. That's relatively easy to grasp. Since then I've enjoyed learning how to "play" and trying to learn how to play well. That's a little more challenging. This site has been great for me to play against other people. Prior to this I've only played against a few other opponents, so this has been a fantastic educational experience in seeing other people's playing styles.
