I am 59 years old, married with two of the greatest sons a father could want! I have degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and have worked in the Oil & Gas business here in Alberta Canada for 33 Years. I used to play chess quite a bit in High School and have decided to get back into it. My other interests are golf, tennis and hockey (I am still playing as a goalie after all these years).
One of my friends sent me this: CHESS is the only GAME where it doesn't matter whether you WIN or LOSE, but it matters whether or not you LEARNT a lesson from each of the games that you played. In the world of Chess, tactics, imagination and expectations play a major role. And the more you lose, the more you learn. Play the game, win or lose, lose or win, but learn, play, and live to your fullest.
