When I joined this site years back I loved it. There were top players, the forums were interesting and funny, and people played fairly.
Now the top players are one by one being revealed as computers (the saddos) and the forums are just rubbish. Nobody posts anything worthwhile and fanatical Christians and Muslims bluster at you... which offends me when I am quite religious myself.
Also, people are not playing for the game but playing for the rating. Come on. It's an anonymous chess site. If you wait for a timeout win in a lost position I don't understand why you're here.
Just remember chess is a game. Play it for a laugh. And don't use a computer, for goodness' sake. If you do that get a life.
My parting words of wisdom. Make of them what you will. Thanks to everybody who I've played great games and chatted to on this site.
