My name refers to a Wisconsin heritage... plus I like the way cheese tastes. I had been first chair of my high school chess team for its first two years, compiling a 13-3-4 record. I am not FIDE rated, although I have beaten several rated players, the highest of which was ~1900. I enjoy the game and the fast-paced process of thinking about different chess positions and moves. I tend to use the english opening and a wide variety of defenses (Sicilian variations are my favorites).
