Nel innovativo motore superquadro, la potenza è stata aumentata fino a 195 CV a 10.750 giri al minuto, un riferimento assoluto per una serie prodotta bicilindrico, mentre la coppia è stata aumentata a 13,5 kgm @ 9000 giri al minuto. E grazie alle opzioni di modalità di equitazione, il pilota è in grado di modulare l'erogazione di potenza in base a stile di guida e alle condizioni stradali.
