I'm an English player finding less time and inclination for over-the-board chess. In principle I welcome challenges from players who enjoy competitive chess and whose rating is within a hundred or so points of mine. I don't use computer engines but do use opening theory (including databases). I am not currently looking to join any more clans. I do now routinely claim time-outs, having had one or two bad experiences when not doing so.
