For over thirty years I have been playing chess and in that time I reckon to have played all the openings at some point in my chess career. Transpositions and playing defences as White with an extra move I find of great interest. I enjoy taking time over moves and I am a big fan of hypermodern chess in which you control squares by the pieces rather than the pawns. These longer games I use to study which helps with my over the board games.
