My name is Shannon. My Dad taught me how to play chess growing up, so gained some experience from playing him and my brothers. Bear with me though, i am a complete newbie. I can keep a game going for a bit, and hopefully its a game we both enjoy. Most important part of Chess is learning to enjoy the game and not drown your opponent. I like to practice, so unrated games are good for that, but rated games are a nice challenge to keep my score up.
