I'm a husband, father, and geek. Aside from my family, I enjoy chess and computers. I'm a rank novice when it comes to chess -- I'm largely self-taught though I have read a couple of books and worked through some puzzles, etc. My interest in computers is predominantly professional though I do quite a lot as a hobbyist too, mostly related to Linux, perl, php, and python.
