i won't use "analyze board" or even "flip board." i think it's cheating. i don't like trading off pieces without reason for it. it tends to make the games more boring. (eliminating pawns is fine though, since pieces get more open lines for attack when they're removed.) i think there may be such a thing as luck in chess, because it can happen that i put a piece in a particular position & it ends up fulfilling a role that i never thought of when putting it there. --me: intellectual. easy-going. reclusive. amiable. play fast. may chat.
