What is Line?

The term Line refers to a sequence of moves in a chess opening. It often includes a specific sequence of opening theory moves in a particular variation, that is followed by both players to develop their pieces and control the center of the board. The line concludes when both players reach the middle game, each move in the line is considered an important strategic decision.
