I remember a time when that would have been 10 up, what does that tell you goad?

Not unusual for me to get 11 between the clique and friends! 😉

Clan player ratings need to be implemented.
Over time all players should be 50/50 as far as win/loss percentage if they are playing people of their own strength.
We have people with a 70% clan game win percentage?
Obviously losing regular games to keep rating down so they can win clan games easier.

If we had a clan rating then it would balance back down to 50/50 average in clan wins/losses.

Start with that and we are on our way back to the clans being popular.
We have a regular rating and a useless club rating so why not a clan rating?

Actually something we have been talking about for years.

I believe the clan ratings should be seperate from the other ratings as I agree with the point you are making.

A vote was done in the past and the majority wanted to keep everything as it now stands.

There will always be a very small minority of players who will try and lower their main ratings to affect clan pairings. However, for the overwhelming majority of members, their established site ratings are a pretty strong indicator of their playing strength.

To introduce clan ratings on account of that small minority would cause more problems than it would solve. (Just take a look at team ratings and see how poorly they match up to ability).

As you've said before, doesn't mean you wouldn't make a good one. Of course doesn't mean you would either as a lot of work has to be put in it if you want to be on the first page.
