shaft their own members, seriously i have no idea what you are talking about. I was under the impression that many lower rated players were only too keen to have a shot at higher rated ones.

Their members weren't shafted. They all had to be in on the collusion. No self respecting player would continue to be part of a clan that has done what these clans have done unless they knew what was going on.
