If the language were sufficient then there would be no reason for new words to enter the language. New words MUST enter the language and English has always welcomed new words from around the world (unlike the French).

BTW at what point do you think the language was sufficient? Do you want to discount C18th words? or C19th or C20th or just the last 10 years?
