Indeed, something like 4 protesters were seen in DC that day.
Yet, a Congressional session was cancelled and the news media reported that there would be some sort of crazy happening, potentially.
Qanon is a tool that the media uses to rally its base against perceived enemies, and it barely exists anymore. What aspects of it do continue to exist are perhaps even Fed run.

People both to the left and the right believe this. It is a very normal thing to believe.
