Well its no wonder as to why the masses nailed Jesus to a cross then. 😉
One can hardly argue that Christianity is 'right' on one hand, when it is merely a belief system, and then argue that Islam is 'wrong' because it is merely a belief system. At least not the Debates forum.

You make a good point. The US unemployment rate is small compared to industrialized Europe, and the duration of unemployment on average is considerably shorter.

That's what free markets are good at doing, sorting out the unproductive jobs, and then eliminating them. It works better when there is accountability for failure.

It is becoming quite clear that the "stimulus" bill being debated in Congress is less about stimulus, and more about passing pet projects, and satisfying constituency groups.

One group that is beginning to rebel is the conservative democrats elected in the last two cycles. Most of them won seats from Repubics who had no principled conservatism. These folks have no taste for spending a trillion dollars in pork, and special interest spending.

I don't think Obama whats that either, but he is between a rock and a hard place as his election was facilitated by those far left groupies that support Pelosi and Reid. The real question is how firm the opposition to the pork barrel is among both conservative Democrats and Repubics who may be susceptible to horse trading for bring home the bacon.

Then, will Obama sign a bill which doesn't do much of anything to stimulate the economy, which will insure he is a one term Carter like character.

Standard Christian view of an omniscient omnipotent and omnipresent creator being, who in recognizing humanities inability to meet the requirements of his eternal law, provided himself as a man become flesh, to be a bridge back to himself such that we who believe might experience a more abundant full life enriched by love ( the agape selfless kind that sees beyond the fault to help meet the need) such that all who would be grafted into his body, are able to act as one in the unity of spirit to be a witness to his matchless mercy and grace, while ever giving praise to the glory that is his righteous perfection. That those who saw himself as his son Jesus, saw him, the father GOD, in that they saw a being at odds with perfunctory religiosity, being not just a sayer of the word, but a doer also, who showed that the greatest love that can be shown is when one is humble enough to serve, and that the greatest are among the least of those that are his.

Is God just the LOGOS, the idea, and through Jesus did that thought become flesh and did Jesus in incorporating and demonstrating what that perfection might be, did he in some small way forever fashion that eternal power into something tangible and real and involved and interested in the plight of humanity?.........

If your heart compels you to believe, then your mind will find enough reason to establish the faith you are called to receive.

It depends on where you look in Europe, but yes, countries like France and Germany have hopelessly inflexible labour markets leading to 10%+ unemployment rates.

Sorry if your emotional problems blind you to everything that is written here except the simplest, most uneducated interpretation. So allow me to assist you in understanding the conventions of what my posts mean. My insults are jokes, the more earthy, the funnier they are. My insults are, objectively speaking, very very funny. My anger is an expression of ennui (that means boredom, more or less) . Sarcasm is double-edged and aimed as much at myself as at you. Nothing in my world is what it seems to be, what it appears to be. Everything is uncertain, open to interpretation, needing translation, or a special knowledge of one sort or another to reveal the hidden cues. Everything is subtle, nothing is straight forward. I wasn't thinking of your feelings, kmax87. My posts are what they are, regardless of whether you can conceive of what even that means.

Thanks for letting me into your conventions though. I'll think twice before overreacting next time.
