True story. One of our rescue cats couldn't jump high enough to get on the sofa for three days after seemingly attempting to fly in pursuit of a squirrel that moved between two trees. A month later she did the same thing again. Do we try and teach her not to attempt to fly or just see this as how cats will naturally develop resistance to viruses?

I love insects, wouldn't kill any of them. If they are trapped in my home, I pick them up in a match-box and let them out outside.
I pick up spiders in my hand and carry them outside, but only up to a certain size. Too big, and I use a cup.

I only really fear earwigs.

I like sir how you amalgamated your 'true story' with a humorous stick to jab me with.

Sir, the advancement of veterinary science is no laughing matter. I would anticipate vast numbers of flying cats by the late 20th Century preying on the flying mice referred to as bats. I anticipate that without this development humanity will be in great peril, ultimately resulting in lawlessness in the colonies near Lake Michigan.

I predict in the year 2084 pigs will also start flying.

On that day, the price of bacon will go up.

Because they are harder to catch, inspiring a whole new breed of pig hunters armed with 50 foot long nets.

I guess that would reach the lower flying ones and maybe they would be the heavier ones with more meat on them?

Kind of punches holes in the 'china creates bioweapon' theory.
How does this article show covid wasn't a lab mutated bat virus . It just says what everyone knows .Bats have lots of viruses and are the most likely origin.
