And you now what? It's their job! Which way otherwise do you think they would have been running?
Office workers, airline staff, fire-fighters.
The difference is that the fire-fighter knew what the situation was, and their job was to go into the burning building. They did so, and saved many people by doing so.

Or prang your car ,see who turns up ?
Someone holds a gun to your head ,see who turns up ?
Your neighbour house is on fire threatening yours, see who turns up ?
I hope none of them turn up for you🙁🙁🙁
I am sure you'll turn up to save me with your big heart.
When I was in Lao, I just slept for 7 months with my door open. It's a one party comunist regime (boo!) and I've never felt safer in my all life. Met only one policeman during those 7 months. He smiled at me and shaked my hand very friendly.
One day a american tourist came by flat boat. He ran at me because he forgot his camera and travel cheques in the boat that went back to another city. So I walked him to the Police station and explain what had happen. The local police said "quick follow us" and the three of us ran to the post office.
- Why are we going to the post office the american asked
- because there's no phone in the police station, the policeman answer.
- What NO PHONE!
The guy was sure that his belomgings were lost forever with such an incompetent police. The policeman just explained him that there was no phone because nothing never happened here. Phone is just for people to phone abroad to their family.
So they just phone to the city to send a message to the boat to put the american belongings on tommorow's boat.
So he recovers them all the next day.
Well fellow, you choose to leave in a country were everybody can have a gun. Live with it!
I can understand that living there gets you a lil bit nervous as can be seen through reading your posts 🙂
