To be fair, which is hard to do for Trump, what I saw was the damage was not so much to the ear but to a crease on the side of his head, like where you would put a pencil and about that shape.
So ear damage would have been on the inside flap and not visible from the outside.
It would take a really close up picture with his ear flap bent down to see what is healed now.
