What's that I see on the horizon?
Oh...it's a great big mushroom cloud of hypocrisy...
Barely anyone has provided a meaningful and detailed reply to the question raised below, though a handful have replied with ridicule. I have the impression that much of America is hiding behind it's military power, does not reply out of blind patiotism or couldn't care about anyone else but America or themself. To demonstrate this ...
Please provide a meaningful and detailed reply (else don't post at all).
I see the world as one big project - the mission being sustainable existence for all.
As with any project, there are a number of stakeholders and there will inevitably be conflict of interests. The challenge in the world project is that there are many stake holders. The responsibility of managing the project therefore needs to be shared by people not necessarily at the top of the heirarchy. We therefore all have a higher degree of responsibility than we might think.
An important characteristic of a good project manager is their ability to conceive possible situations, to consider and to make contingencies for these.
Here’s a question regarding a likely situation …
How much concern do American's have when allowing for the possibility that the balance of power is going to shift over the next 50 years whilst America continues to be perceived as an aggressor with suspect motives ?
(This is a question about how the world will be when America no longer enjoys its current level of control and the world is short of diplomacy and full of weapons. By diplomacy I mean a past and present where fair and peaceful outcomes have been negotiated. This is not a debate about whether America will or will not survive as a super power).
What do you see the outcomes being in that situation and to what degree do you feel concerned ?
The error that Stan is making is assuming that people view his hatred and biggotry toward the US as valid complaint.
This is almost an impossible point of view to support. Because we have history to examine. We see what his kind of blind rage and hatred did to the Jews in Europe under Hitler. Period.
We are smart enough to equate Stan to a Brown Shirt. Period.
The thing that is kind of frightening is that he is just one of many. Just like the other Brown shirts who hated for the sake of hate.
Oh well. At least Stan and his friends can see where they will end up in the scrap pile of history. If he dares study what happened to his fellow SS men after the great war to exterminate the Jew.

I don't hate Americans but I, like billions of others, hate many of the things America does.
I am being persistent (call it obsessive if that pleases you) because this should be a serious concern for Americans and isn't just going to go away.
Thos billions of people may include small groups of fanatics but it's the rest of the people America needs to consider more, particularily but not necessary because of the likelyhood that the balance of power will change in the world over the next 50 years or so.
America, unlike the small groups of fanatics, needs to use peaceful and diplomatic approaches if annihlation is to be avoided. America's strength will be judged by its ability to do so.

This mysterious power is malevelont to you and yours?
This terrible evil empire is the cause of all evil that you see?
How is that different from the secret power the Jews used to "control the world" and cause all the evil in the world?
Stan, you are not fooling a single person. We see you for the Nazi you are. The only difference is you have substituted "America" for "Juden" as the evil, unseen, powerful force for all evil in the world.
And don't use the "I have many american friends" argument. It was used the same way by most Nazi's at their war trials. "I have many Jew Friends" Didn't work then. Won't work for you either.

The Jews didn't have the history America has starting wars, seeing the suffering that results and failing to learn.
America's strength is being judged by its ability to do things peacefully and diplomatically.
You see?
The hatred you feel toward this mystery power (that is far from real, by the way) is IDENTICAL to that same blind hate.
If you want or need to hate and have something to blame for the lack of control you feel in your life... blame yourself. There is a world of books out there. Use them.

Or we can come up with qualifications to better define many uses of each. Seems rather pointless.
Your hatred comes from something deep inside you. The outside target is the US. Your inward cause is what you have to discover.
