@metal-brain saidWhat could be more violative of your personal autonomy than the State forcing you to bear a child?
LOL!
Then explain it to me in an intelligible form.
It says "certain rights", not all rights.
That is open to wide interpretation of all different sorts. How does that help?
How can that possibly apply to abortion rights?
@no1marauder saidForcing you to bear a child in prison for a controlled substance conviction.

@mott-the-hoople saidyes, it's quite an important word for intelligent people thinking about consequences and subtleties and ramifications.
“if”
you libs are big on that word
for stupid people, not that important
@sonhouse saidThese rogue State Attorneys General have as much jurisdiction in another state as they do in Mexico, the asses
@Earl-of-Trumps
If they did, the right winger SCOTUS would LOVE to take this on leading to passports and REASONS to go from one state to another, like the laws they are trying to pass preventing a pregnant woman from leaving the state for an abortion where it is legal and maybe if they get their way the only places to go would be Mexico and Canada.....
@zahlanzi saidAre you out of your fooking mind?
will you then vote democrat (or stay at home) or it's not such a horrible idea
@no1marauder saidNo1, that is wishful thinking. Some fear we are headed for recession, as some even think we are there now.
The economy will improve at least marginally before November.
Antiabortion measures well out of step with the majority's wishes will be forced through many State legislatures well before then.
It will be interesting to see as time moves along. So far, American people think that the economy is their #1 concern

@earl-of-trumps saidyeah, silly me. Republicans restricting travel for women seeking medical care outside of state is not enough for you to stop voting for them. Forcing women to give birth against their will is not enough for you.
Are you out of your fooking mind?
Party of small government and you, married forever.
@earl-of-trumps saidInflation is the #1 concern and there are already signs the rate will be going down soon, if it hasn't already.

@no1marauder saidThe WH will be glad to tell you that if you put aside the cost of food and gasoline, inflation is negative.

uhHuh

@earl-of-trumps saidI'm sure when the official figures show the rate slowing, right wing conspiracy theorists will scream and cry that the numbers are being "fixed".

I doubt the People will be duped, however by another Big Lie.
@no1marauder saidHmmmm, I dont see folks rushing into bonds, Marauder.

@averagejoe1 saidExactly.
Hmmmm, I dont see folks rushing into bonds, Marauder.
Buying bonds is similar to making a loan and you never want to do during a spike of inflation because
you get paid back in inflated-dollars, which are not as valuable as the dollars you loaned out.
yes, banks hate this stuff and I'm fairly certain that inflation played a role in the fed raising the prime interest rate.
That's the extent of my knowledge on economy :-)
@earl-of-trumps saidYou’re “pro abortion” you said, right?
