@averagejoe1 saidThe question is that, given Moody's findings, are you one of the people down $709?
What is the report of Moody that the average family is down $709? All your screed and not answering the question.
The question is that, given Moody's findings, are you one of the people down $709? You see how pitfiully we regard your emotional; screeds. Funny, the simple the question, the hotter you get. To quote W\ildgrass above, ;'Right out of Lib talkiing points! and to quote Marauder, Hohum!
No Joe - That's not the question at all, your question to all of us was. "So anyway, how is everyone faring thru the Biden economics?" Don't you remember? Please go back to your original post and read it again. You're bouncing back and forth between these 2 questions like a cat with a pair of mice.
I'm trying to be nice about this because people who display these bipolar or neurotic symptoms need professional help. 😕

@mchill saidYou are right, that is the 8th foible in my Forum career. I am glad though that no one appears to be having trouble in these times. Another finding by Moody et al is that inflation is rising faster than those wages reported to be rising.

I did not catch Biden's speech. Were all of his facts on the positive side? All is well?

@averagejoe1 saidThe economic forecasts are positive. We seem to be scratching back from the debacle of the previous administration. On paper, unemployment is negative. More jobs than people who want them. The corporations just need to get off their greedflation addiction and we would see a full recovery.

@suzianne saidSo everyone will have an average increase of $5500 annual income in the present administration?. How is that possible? Reagan and Trump are the only two presidents who avoided war, which contributed to prosperity. I don't know how Biden's expertise will get this income increase, I just don't see it. Downer.

@averagejoe1 saidThe US soldiers blown up in Beirut in 1983 and those killed in Niger in 2017 and the 65 who died in Afghanistan from 2017-20 might disagree that Reagan and Trump "avoided war".

All indications are that the US economy has recovered from the worldwide inflation that predictably hit after the COVID mini-depression. Why do you think Mott is trying to denigrate the government agencies which have given out economic data for decades? Because he knows full well that the future looks like it will be one with solid growth.
Now how much a President actually has to do with it in a capitalist economy is debateable; generally they get too much credit when things are going well and too much blame when things are going badly.

@no1marauder saidyou do not understand what "war" is.

Notonly me, but the majority of the American people can see when their household income is down, everything costs more...you stick to what this lying admin tells you

@mott-the-hoople saidYes. What was the reference , as in "WWII", of the war of which Marauder speaks? He left that out.

@averagejoe1 saidSo there wasn't a "war" in Iraq either?
Yes. What was the reference , as in "WWII", of the war of which Marauder speaks? He left that out.
Nope, not one in Afghanistan by such cramped dishonest definitions.
In fact technically the US hasn't been in a single war since WWII IF you play the game like Mott is claiming now; there's been no Congressional declaration of war by the US since December 1941.
So not just Reagan and Trump have "avoided war" if you want to use such a silly definition.
I prefer a dictionary definition:
a conflict carried on by force of arms, as between nations or between parties within a nation; warfare, as by land, sea, or air.
a state or period of armed hostility or active military operations:

@mott-the-hoople saidI'm waiting for you to actually post something that disputes the situation in Lebanon 1983 or in Niger and Afghanistan from 2017-20 weren't "wars". So far, you have miserably failed to do so.

@no1marauder saidThe 1949 Geneva conventions laid out the rules and definitions of war...I posted a link.

You posted a simplistic definition, but it is much more nuanced than that.
ALL these nations agreed, but marerider is the one that is correct...bumbling conceited, arrogant fool.

@mott-the-hoople saidNone ever agreed the large scale armed resistance to a foreign occupation wasn't "war".

Nor that long term armed struggles between parties inside a country wasn't "war".
Your sources say the opposite of what you claim.
