@sonhouse saidIs this in PA? That's probably why.
@Soothfast
That too. But a Mexican grill place near us, we used to get GREAT burritos and such rather cheap but the last time I went they wanted 42 bucks for three burritos and a couple of taco's. I said no way Jose. Instead we went to *shudder* taco bell where we got basically the same meal for 17 bucks, still not like they used to be but less than half the price of the M ...[text shortened]... t even CLOSE to the real thing, we know that but when you are hungry any storm in the port will do🙂
I can go to Garcia's near here and get 4 enchiladas and a tamale for $30. That includes rice and beans. Places like Chipotle are way overpriced, too.
Also, good food trucks around here, when you can find them.

@mott-the-hoople saidMy wife has our whole backyard turned up growing vegetables, been doing it for years.
loving my vegetable garden
We get a dinky bit of stuff for a lot of time and effort, not to mention our water bill.
But things are changing fast, it might pay off if groceries keep going up the way they are. Thanks a pant-load, Biden/Dems.
Wish I could find a plant that grew Cheeseburgers and Lasagna.
@averagejoe1 saidAlso note that beef industry is one of the largest contributors to climate warming.
For guys who are all into climate control which (supposedly) leads to perfect bodies, etc, you are sure beating the hell out of your bodies with this poison you are eating. I hereby declare that I eat healthier than you fellers! 😉
