But the real point is that the consensus to refer to the African inhabitants of the USA and the UK as 'black' rather than 'negro' disguises the fact that many much more intelligent races (eg. the Southern Indians, Madrasses) are often 'blacker' than are the negroes of African origin.
So why 'beat about the bush'? Just distiguish African negoes from 'blacks'.
