@petewxyz saidYour avatar is a Celtic flag.
No it isn’t.
I was quoting you because you were talking about the Celtic nations.
No I wasn’t.
In one Brexit causes serious border issues with the possible escalation of past troubles.
No it doesn’t. Yawn.
Another is likely caused to leave the U.K. and re-join Europe.
Do you actually speak English?
Another was strongly Brexit at the time of the vote before changing stance.
What are you on about?
So I may be wrong
The chances of that statement being correct are increasing exponentially.
but I am genuinely curious whether that flag is something to do with Devon and Celtic heritage and if so why would you want to become a part of an isolated England and separate away from Celts?
What on Earth are you on about?
Makes no sense to me unless its just a flag to be quaint for the English tourists? This is genuine curiosity.
I can understand how certain things “make no sense to you”.
@divegeester saidJust polite curiosity from somebody interested in heritage. I respect your right not to want to comment, but really no point in anonymous people who could be anywhere being less than polite?
What does it matter?
@petewxyz saidMy avatar has got nothing to do with this thread topic...and this is me being polite!

Why not divert your energies into responding to my comprehensive reply to your somewhat incomprehensible shotgun post on the previous page instead of palming it off with this silliness about flags and the ancient Celts?
@divegeester saidI was 'on about' the fact that your flag appears Celtic in origin. I am unable to develop that further as you do not wish to say if that is pure coincidence. You asked me why I quoted you and you ask me what I was on about. I quoted you when you were apparently commenting on a sentence in somebody else's post about the Celtic nations (present day not ancient). I was curious that you were apparently commenting on that as Brexiteer whilst apparently flying a Celtic flag. However, this is clearly going nowhere as you seem rather reluctant to comment on whether or not that is the flag's purpose?

@petewxyz saidWhere did I say that Pete?
I quoted you when you were apparently commenting on a sentence in somebody else's post about the Celtic nations (present day not ancient).
@petewxyz saidI have already pointed out in the post you are replying to that my avatar has nothing to do with the thread's OP topic. It is not a political statement nor a Celtic banner of some sort. I’m pleased that you like it though.
However, this is clearly going nowhere as you seem rather reluctant to comment on whether or not that is the flag's purpose?

@petewxyz saidIt's Saint Petroc's Flag.
@divegeester So what's the flag?
Designed in 2003.
It is the official flag of the Devon Popular Front a right-wing separatist
movement demanding independence for Devon and an end to the
undemocratic bureaucracy of London. Their manifesto suggests savings
of £100 billion pounds would could be spent on local hospitals and
free cream-teas for the elderly. Additionally aircraft safety would be
transferred to the Devonshire Aviation Authority "bringing jobs home to Exeter".
