provided by The Federal Government,
is in flood prone areas that private insurance
companies WILL NOT COVER~!

Tell Suzianne that AvJoe Lied!!! **

In my profession for many years since the 60's, Fed Govt was the only source of flood insurance. I now find that some private companies make it available. I did not know that. But you can still read the part that I wrote about self-reliance!!!

**. Wait!…No lie, because I did not intend to deceive!!!!!!!
"No lie, because I did not intend to deceive!!!!!!"
I didn't think you were lying. The sad thing is you really might be genuinely stupid enough to believe you are self reliant and just not see all the different ways you rely on the government and everyone else.

This flood insurance thing is simply the latest example. You needed flood insurance and private companies thought there isn't enough profit to be made selling you this product you sorely needed. I bet you still have no clue what point i am making or how it also applies to healthcare or education or affordable housing or any other number of things the government should provide and/or regulate

Paul has consistently opposed Federal emergency funding for other States hit hard by disasters including hurricanes. https://www.latimes.com/business/story/2021-12-13/hiltzik-rand-paul-kentucky-tornado-aid-after-voting-against-it-for-everyone-else

Yes, that makes him a hypocrite when he supports it for his own State.
