Well just create a second pretend address and give me that one if you're too afraid to give the real one!
Dude, you think you got my number but all you have is a sore ass because America is arrogant, powerfull, and extremely successful. You're bitter and confused and I know what your dilemma is.... lack of power. I hope you're a spiritual man, however, I doubt it. So just take the big nappy-nap... that way, no more pain.

Originally posted by TexasCowboyPersonally I like arrogant, if you've got something to be arrogant about. Invading smaller, weaker countries is morally equivalent to beating up the six year old down the street because he MIGHT attack you some day; it's the act of a paranoid coward who should be locked up. You sound like a typical punk bully to me; scared of a fair fight and even too scared to use your original username. That makes ya yeller in my eyes, pardner!!

I won't bore you with the History.
We run on a multi-party system where, in each riding, we elect one member of parliament on a federal level and one member of provincial parliament on a provincial level. There are many parties that have their names on the ballot, the major four parties being the Liberals, Progressive Conservatives, the NDP and the Bloq ...[text shortened]... olitician.
There you go...
If you have further questions, ask somebody who knows more 🙂
I read something about electoral reform and how they're thinking about a system of proportional representation. How does it work now?
Don't panic.
Anyways, you might want to do some research on Tommy Douglas if you are interested in the NDP.
Many of the old NDP's ideas have been adopted by other parties, most notably what you call Medicare, leaving the NDP out on the fringe these days.
We vote for the party of our choice by electing a Member of Parliament in our home riding.
BTW, the Prime Minister isn't the Head of State here, that honour belongs to the Governor-General, who is appointed by the Prime Minister (in the past by the British King or Queen)

You vote for the party. In a federal election, I would vote for the party member running in my riding and not the leader of the party.

The MPs are directly elected and make up the seatholders in the House. Cabinet members are directly appointed by the PM from members of his party who own a seat in the house.

Electoral reform is always being talked about but it's all talk for now. Here's a good link from SFU in BC:

There are usually charges of unfair representation when a majority government is elected since the amount of seats won in an election does not always reflect the population that voted for the party.
