how bout a two-tier system ... people who can, on capitalism, people who can't or are disinclined, on socialism (rather than welfare), and a set donation from the capitalist folks ... with a single shared vote come election time for the socialists ...
And a single vote for all of the lower tier? Seems like all votes would then go the way of the upper tier, ensuring that very few of the lower tier ever wormed their way to relative prosperity.
The main problem I see with socialism is that it enroaches on personal freedom.
The main problem with capitalism is that people use their personal freedom for wasteful ends (just look all the packaging thrown out in the west). And capitalism is hardly working, is it?
I think a forum of communism really where the state has more power over something’s but less over others.
I think that everyone has an equal right to education and healthcare and so private schools and hospitals should be integrated into public ones so everyone can use them free of charge.
The state should impose restrictions on businesses to reduce waste and offer more jobs ideally reducing unemployment also it should provide care for the homeless.
Lastly I think a world without money would be a better world but at the moment this is a far off ideal that would be very hard to plan and carry out.

Which do you think is the superior economic system? When I say socialism I don't mean the pseudo-socialism of cold war era USSR.
Do you think that the world's economic system will evolve to socialism (as Marx said)?
EDIT: If I remember

Realistically the Capitalist system is better, but I'd prefer a good working socalist system. If anybody can figure out how to make it work, let me know.

Oh sorry, why?
Mainly because it is human nature to desire power. Money buys power and so we have greed for money. This is the downfall of all economic systems.
