Not for that discussion.

Does anybody who labels themselves "conseravtive" have sympathy for "rules have to be obeyed"? (For you erudite types: pacta sund servanda)

A point cannot be muted but a point can be moot.
Oh yeah just a reminder that only a minority of the people voted for Trump to hold the gavel.
Simple fact is that if Trump could have debated Biden then he surely would have. He opted instead for saying a whole lot of utter rubbish in a loud squeaky voice.

Rules have to be obeyed, eh? lol

Like Hilary Clinton having an illegal mail server hidden in the bathroom closet of her mansion?

Ok, dude, Ok.

The people voted for Hilary. The EC elected Trump contrary to the popular vote.

In any case, the POTUS is not an emperor; does not hold the gavel in every court and forum. This he has never accepted. But he will, eventually.

The problem with Americans - and maybe people all over the world, we only recognize
wrongdoing when our ideological political enemies stand accused. And the pols know it.
Talk about an group of entitled people... "politician privilege".

And moonbus, you dive in to protect Hilary as if she ad been elected to president.
That should not be the case, and especially so when her misdeeds happened when she was a citizen.

Her misdeeds... like being impeached?

I'm not defending Hilary. I simply pointed out that Mott was in error when he said that the people had elected Trump. They did not; the EC did.

I conclude: If others break rules I am entitled to do so?

Have rules been agreed onbetween the two sides?

No, no, no. That was her husband, Bill Clinton.

Well, Pondy, you and I can't break rules, as we do not have "Politician Privilege"

I mean, you're *special* and all, just not that special :-)

I believe Shav was referring to the most recent impeachment.
