That is an incredible show of generosity, SVW.

It's abhorent that some people here can't see your good intentions for what they are through their own need to be the centre of attention.

Yea, Well. I might have to hire you as a protector when my wife gets the next Credit Card statement.

Actually, the only one I have actually spent yet is the woundedwarriorproject. The others have to wait till my next pay check after the fifteenth. 😞😛🙂

I once organised a X-Mas in July party where people came in fancy dress and put a gift under a tree which were then collected and given to a local charity. It was fun, charitable and it wasn't X-Mas.

That sounds fun, Stan. And way to go. We all need to be more caring. I salute your kindness.

I will. It's only money. If I had wanted to be rich I wouldn't have built 2400 houses with my hands. And I sure as hell would have never become an applications programmer with no education except TS Of HardKnock.

I just enjoy seeing a finished "thing" that I did. Be it a new house, a good remodeled entry-way or a neat app. Nobody has to provide me job satisfaction. I do that for myself.

Nice to see that you can surprise me.

It’s an impressive list you’ve got there, some have criticized the organisations you’ve chosen to support, they might even be right about their reservations, but it doesn’t change the fact that you have decided to do something - to give.

If everybody who have something to spare gave 10% on an annual basis we could ensure clean water to every body and vaccination to the children of the world.

I hope that you after the 15th still remember your resolve to give and get to the ones on your list that needs it the most, though they are also those who are farthest away.
