George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, and Richard Nixon are indisputably the three worst presidents in US history. I am tempted to nominate Bill Clinton as the fourth worst. I have no interest in Monica Lewinsky or any of the Rove & co. manufactured conspiracies. My judgment rests primarily upon three things that transpired during the Clinton administration:
1. ...[text shortened]... n. The only way the Clinton administration could have been worse is if he had been a Republican.
I realize that Reagan is a statists worst nightmare. He was not only popular, he was successful. He was so successful, that his VP Bush was elected just becasue he was his VP. Before that time, he had run for President but was a horrible failure. Of course, looking bach at his presidency, we can see why. It is then understandable that those who oppose statism are after the Reagan legacy. After all, it is why Obama attacks him in his book and says he has set out to "undo" what he has done. In the interim, Obama will continue the "W" policies of war abroad, insane spending, and bail outs of large corporations via Joe Shmoe tax payer. Then we can sit back and watch the hilarity insue regarding the eononmic impact of his policies and unemployment rate and the political division he has created in this country. Reagan was so popular, that he was adored by many on the left. We will see how many still ador Obama come 2012. 😀
BTW: Are they still talking about putting Reagans face on the $50 bill? 😵

Uh, gee... what about Andrew Jackson, who appointed Roger Taney to the Supreme Court, who later issued the infamous Dred Scot Decision, or James Buchanan, who supported that decision?
Herbert Hoover and Calvin Coolidge allowed economic policies to be in effect that led to the Great Depression and FDR failed to stop the depression for most of a decade after taking office.
John Adams signed into law the Alien and Sedition Acts which made a mockery out of the First Amendment.
Don't they get any consideration?
Or, did US history begin during your lifetime?
It's ironic that a socialist would choose all the worst Presidents from an era in which the government has grown to completely unprecedented levels.
