@wildgrass saidYes; I was merely quibbling with usage of the term "teenager." My example features an 18 year old and my post specifically said 18 or 19.
Weren't you arguing on the other thread that minimum age limits are needed for life altering decisions? Parenthood seems like one of those important decisions in life.
For decisions as to becoming a parent, I think I might set it at 17 rather than 18, but okay. My understanding is that getting married at 17 is common in many parts of the country.
Of course, the fundamental problem is that there's no way to enforce it. Unless you want to have government-enforced abstinence, how do you plan to prevent 15 year old girls from having babies?

@vivify saidYeah, the ones who vehemently want abortions banned also don’t want teenagers to know how not to need one in the first place, and also don’t want to support them later on. It all fits into a pattern. They call it “family values.”
Try not banning comprehensive sex Ed like Boebert is attempting.

Side benefit: far fewer abortions. Isn't that what you want? Or is the true goal just to control women? Make them have your babies? That's the only reason I see for not providing contraceptives.

I'm pro-choice, as I've said 100 times on this board.
Just because I'm not a left wing nut doesn't mean I have to toe every right wing position.
@no1marauder saidSlut-shaming doesn't become you.
