Our lives seem to be becoming ethereal with Biden. Hell, at least the previous president had original thoughts, and threw them out there.

@Metal-Brain
Maybe it's because there are already mandates from the houses themselves.

Oh wait, I forgot, it is a DEMOCRAT POTUS.
So he is wrong no matter WHAT happens.

Got it.

If you had bothered to read the whole article you would have found Biden's jurisdiction regarding mask vaccine and mandates extend to the executive branch workers. Neither Biden or Nancy Pelosi can simply order members of Congress to get vaccines or wear masks. This is a typical knee jerk reaction to anything that has even the appearance of hypocrisy or impropriety on the part of Joe Biden or the Democrats.

https://reason.com/2021/09/09/biden-admits-he-cant-mandate-masks-why-does-he-think-he-can-mandate-vaccines/

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said at a press conference on April 29 that the House couldn't require members to be vaccinated. Video clips of those remarks gained renewed attention online following Biden's announcement.

"So—so here is the thing. We are—we cannot require someone to be vaccinated. That's just not what we can do. It is a matter of privacy to know who is or who isn't," Pelosi said.

"I can't go to the Capitol Physician and say, 'Give me the names of people who aren't vaccinated, so I can go encourage them or make it known to others to encourage them to be vaccinated.' So we can't—we can't do that," she said.

Pelosi's office reiterated that position in a statement to Newsweek on Friday, saying the speaker's April 29 remarks were "referring to the institution in which she serves."

"She's saying she cannot force Members to be vaccinated, which is true," the statement said.

In August, a group of 19 Democrats in the House wrote a letter to the Capitol's attending physician, Dr. Brian P. Monahan, asking him to consider a vaccine requirement or a minimum of two COVID tests per week for members and staff who can't show proof of vaccination. No requirement has yet been put in place.

You are wrong. I read it.
Congress has privacy rights and we don't.

Why don't they vote to take away their own privacy rights to mandate gene vaccines? Because they care about privacy rights for themselves. They don't care about anybody else's rights, but they care about their own. Right?

You have no "privacy right" to spread contagious diseases.

But congress does?

Did you forget the CDC admitted the gene vaccines do not stop the spread of the virus? Did you also forget that the most vaccinated countries have the most covid cases?

You don't like being confused with facts, do you?

I had covid so I have natural immunity. I cannot spread it.

Vaccines do NOT stop the spread. Get that through your thick skull. Even the CDC admitted that.

When you thought otherwise why did you condone congress being able to spread it? Do you not see the hypocrisy?

I had covid so I have natural immunity. I cannot spread it, but you can.

Biden's order doesn't apply to Congressional employees because they are in a separate branch of the government, not because of any non-existent "privacy right" to spread diseases. https://www.newsweek.com/members-congress-staff-exempt-biden-covid-vaccine-mandate-1627859?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1631289096

"Natural immunity" doesn't "stop the spread" 100% any more than vaccination does. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/09/01/covid-vaccine-dr-scott-gottlieb-says-people-who-had-covid-wont-be-immune-forever.html

This point has been made to you dozens of times but no vaccine is 100% effective. You are pedaling misinformation by conflating a failure to have 100% effectiveness with having no effect at all.

OSHA has the legal authority to safeguard employees in industries that engage in or affect interstate commerce.

IF that agency can mandate a warning sign on ladders, why can't they mandate either a vaccination or testing for employees during a pandemic?
