The post that was quoted here has been removedJS357 says that they are taken from a Wikipedia article called "List of Conspiracy Theories." He thinks the article is US-oriented at least in numbers. But he thinks most of the people on this forum who tend to analyze current events in terms of conspiracies, are Americans, and that influenced his selection to some extent, thinking that if he recognized them, others would too. Is Duchess64 OK with this explanation?
The real reason Americans are so enthralled is simple: Joe McCarthy started it when we were all kids, and that's what we heard: conspiracies!
And then, Winter Wonderland was played repetitively on the radio in those days. ("Later on we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire"😉
It's all conditioning!
But. It may be a conspiracy.

Here is a sampling of events and groups about which conspiracy/cover-up theories have developed. Which ones do you think were the result of, or are involved in, actual conspiracies that in general have been concealed from the general public?
New World Order
Pearl Harbor (advance-knowledge)
Pan Am Flight 103
Oklahoma City bombing
9/11
2004 Madrid trai ...[text shortened]... nding
Area 51
Alien autopsy
Please add any other events/groups that should be on this list.
They find themselves in the center of many conspiracy theories.
Oh, and the Zionist. 😉
apparently the fonz was a russian spy and happy days was written by the kgb with the purpose of subliminally turning young americans into communists. the cia quickly responded with different strokes and a battle between the cia and kgb for the hearts and minds of the youth of america ensued.

"we realized in hind sight that it was a mistake recording a russian audience for the laughter track. it is mistakes like that, that cost us the cold war"
There is a water powered car, the inventor of the car has since disappeared, comprehensively disappeared not a trace, some say he never existed, but this is all bona fide, anyway the big fuel companies have this car, maybe the inventor too, but they can't release the car yet because it only does 527 miles per gallon of water.

The eyes of the IRA they are upon you, oh Maggie Thatcher dear...
"Collateral damage is unfortunate but sometimes cannot be avoided "
Looks like the British tried a bit harder to avoid collateral damage than the i.r.a did .
