Also, parents who refuse to acknowledge their child's gender dysphoria are doing them a huge disservice. Some of these require the ability to speak with a counselor without having a parent along. If the child is lucky, their parent will acknowledge the problem and arrange help for them, but if the child is unlucky, they will have a parent that doesn't care about their psychological health until it is too late.
