The post that was quoted here has been removedUnsubstantiated second hand info and unequivocally denied by school superintendent and the board member. I can assure you we already debunked the litterbox thing on this forum. A quick Google search shows all of these are hoaxes.
Regarding the other stuff about fashion and behavior? There is a ton of weird behaviors in high school, and the neck leash choker is not new. It was a fashion item back in the 1990s. But I assure you there aren't any costumed folk peeing in litter boxes.
I was at comicon this weekend (Utrecht) and actually saw some bronies and pegasisters.
And people dressed up as Darth Vader, the Mandalorian, Klingons, Harry Potterish, etc.
Well, and certainly a load dressed up as Manga characters too… but them I don’t recognise.
However… not 1 of them actually thinks they’re a real bloody jedi or bountyhunter.
Not 1.

“I have firsthand knowledge that we do have students identifying as animals, and one in particular that I can confirm 100 percent,” RCDSB vice chair David Kaiser confirmed in a phone call interview with LifeSiteNews on Thursday.

ok if we want to split hairs on definitions then how about one example? Is there any verifiable example of a kid identifying as a furry in a classroom environment using a litter box? Surely... A photo? An eye witness? Right? Otherwise why bring it up?
This was on this forum a few months ago and turned out to be 100% internet make believe. It's a story designed to rile up the gullible conservatives to practice their best fist shaking "kids these days...."
@earl-of-trumps saidOf course there’s not.

You can easily google furry fandom.
It’s a sub-section of cosplay (generally), where the fans (called furries, like star trek fans are called trekkies) enjoy animal based characters (with human dimensions.. think of Winnie the Pooh or that rat-thing out Guardians of the Galaxy).
Obviously they online fantasize about sex with other furries (who hasn’t dreamt about sex with Chewbacca? ) , but most of all they talk about their favourite characters, have drawing competitions and go to conventions.
Most of them are adults or very late teens.
And even at conventions, they just use normal bloody toilets (which I presume is a drama… undressing just to take a pee).
The right-wing media latched on to furry fandom as some sort of sexual thing, and posted idiotic rubbish about kids wanting litterboxes at schools.
Utter hogwash. All of it.
They’re just an easier target than the Star Wars fandom. Do you know how many stormtroopers and mandalorians I saw last Saturday??? Loads.
Oh, and the Chewbacca thing was obviously a joke. I’m more into Leia in her Hoth costume… and Yoda.
