The post that was quoted here has been removedI remember when NBC news covered the conflict with Russia and Georgia. NBC reported that Russia started the conflict when it was really Georgia that started it. I recorded the news when it happened so I could show people an example of American corporate news propaganda.
I seriously thought my government was going to take military action against Russia. In hindsight the propaganda may have been more intended to insure Russia would withdrawal. I'm sure they monitor our corporate news media carefully.
Originally posted by johnnylongwoodyI bet Snowden really is a good guy that betrayed the NWO. He probably is going to a place where he has a chance to survive.
Ed Snowden left Hong Kong on an Aeroflot flight and is now in Moscow.
How happy are you Americans about that development?
Are you nervous? Are you enraged? Or does any of it matter?
Originally posted by Metal BrainYou are definitely in the extreme tiny fringe to assert that Snowden did not break the law, or that maintaining classified information is unconstitutional.
That classified information is unconstitutional. That makes the classified information illegal. He didn't really break the law if the law was keeping warrantless searches secret so the SCOTUS cannot rule on it.
The post that was quoted here has been removedObviously you, ( Duchess 64 ) are suffering from a lack
of comprehension and or reading skills in deducing that my
post about Snowden being a Chinese spy was merely me
being sarcastic.
The post read: Is Ed Snowden a Chinese Spy.
That's me asking a question, not me offering an opinion.
Here are the facts of the matter so far,
Snowden flees Hawaii. Ends up in Hong Kong where he agrees
to be interviewed by Glenn Greenwald. He gives away secret
information which embarrasses his employers and the NSA and
the American Government who, by all accounts want him back
before he spills any more beans.
Yes he broke the law. He signed a non disclosure agreement
which in effect is a legal gagging order preventing him from sharing
or divulging any of the information he has with anyone who is not
authorized to receive it. His passport has been revoked and he is
now facing criminal charges in the USA if they can ever get their
hands back on him.
If they do he will go to jail for a long time and probably never see the
light of day again never mind give any more interviews.
Is he a spy? Is he a whistleblower? Is he a criminal? Is he a hero?
Take your pick.
Originally posted by moon1969I guess you don't like the 4th constitutional amendment. Why did John Ashcroft reject warrantless wiretapping? Was he an extreme tiny fringe too?
You are definitely in the extreme tiny fringe to assert that Snowden did not break the law, or that maintaining classified information is unconstitutional.
I think you are a mindless follower of Obama. If he says it is good you say it is good because he is a democrat. The fact that Cheney agrees with him just reinforces your support because you view it as bipartisan support and that can't be wrong in your mind. Go ahead, agree with that hypocrite Cheney too. Doesn't that make you feel weird to agree with Cheney?
Originally posted by moon1969Maybe he signed a contract to not reveal what he learned. That is the only way he broke the law. Since Clapper lied and it is okay because it is classified information how do we know Obama is not lying to us when he says nobody is listening in on phone calls?
You are definitely confusing and convoluting issues, or just simply do not understand.
Even Snowden's attorney will not assert that Snowden did not break the law.
The truth is nobody really knows what is going on here on this forum because lying to protect a classified program is acceptable. It is amusing that you are convinced you know though.
