@mott-the-hoople saidIncompetent decisions from the WH.
you do realize the state governors made the calls on procedure dont you? NY and CA had the majority of deaths...thanks to incompetent decisions.
Not a shred of help from the Donald, even though that is his only job.
The reason why we do not have more deaths is that people are generally less mal nourished and more knowledgeable concerning self care as well as better medicine.
In any case this does not negate the falsehood of the 2.2 million deaths prediction.
So once again my claim was superior to the 2.2 million death claim.

You reimnd me of a Joke:
Little Eladar comes from school and says:"I was best in math today"
Mother: "How so?"
"Teacher asked what is 6 ,ultiplied by 7 and I answered 41"
"But that is not correct."
"But I was nearer than the others"

@ponderable saidSo making projections about how many people will die in the next few months is comparable to knowing a multiplication fact.

As I said intellectually dishonest.
@eladar saidThe 2.2 million was if we did nothing.

Clearly we did something, and so that negates the 2.2 million initial estimate.
So you can stop using it to justify stupid policies.
@suzianne saidYou really need to read the thread.

Sweden did nothing and if you take their total deaths and find a proportional number of deaths for the US, that number is no where near 2.2 million.

@kazetnagorra saidIn your eyes? Of course, but you are a euro idiot so that is only to be expected.
Do you not realize you look much worse not admitting your mistake?
@eladar saidI told you, the 2.2 mill is an estimate, based on if we did nothing.
You really need to read the thread.

It has nothing to do with Sweden.
@eladar saidTo say that Sweden 'did nothing' is just inaccurate. They didn't have a strict a lockdown as other nations but they did stop gatherings of more than 50 and advised on social distancing and the elderly staying indoors, in the end they have an infection rate around 5 times more than the other Nordic countries.

Thing is, no one really knows how many people is going to die from this, they didn't know 4 months ago and they don't know now so any estimate is just a guess. What we do know is that the global economy is in tatters, some might argue that it'll recover but you can't recover from death.

@eladar saidYou seem agitated and upset these days.
Lol, people like me are the only hope for this country.
People like you believe that only UVC radiation neutralizes viruses.
Your incessant trolling trying to produce distraction narratives not working ?
You wake up every morning and go to bed every night with the realization that your Messiah is getting his ass kicked politically over his incompetent response to the pandemic crisis and non-response to the racial unrest that is sweeping your country.
Must be tough, huh ?
Soooo close to the promised land of a conservative America.
You can almost taste it, I’ll bet.
Get some rest. Go to bed, but first pray the pandemic away.
Pray the racial problems away.
And then get some sleep. Don’t forget to drink some Lysol before going to bed.
You’ll be just like new tomorrow. 😛
