chess raised my consciousness and helped me to see the consequences of my thinking,IF i was wrong i would lose, yet i could set the pieces up again and try again, over and over. The more I PLAYED CHESS THE MORE I THOUGHT ABOUT LIFE AND MY PLACE IN IT WHICH LED TO BECOMING COGNIZANT OF THE FACT THAT IF I LOST THIS GAME I COULD NEVER SET THE PIECES UP AND PLAY IT AGAIN
