@lemon-lime saidLet's get this straight:
Like I just said, no one expects the left to hold THEMSELVES accountable... why do you think Owens said "LIED" in all Caps?
She knows the left will never admit to any wrong doing.
Even YOU know that. But it's okay with me if you want to keep playing dumb.
Or maybe you're NOT playing, maybe you really are... (unable to face the truth)
Referring to Joe Biden as "President elect", following the same practice that has been done for decades under the same circumstances including in 2016, is some kind of "wrongdoing" that constitutes a "lie" that the "Left" must apologize for?

@no1marauder saidExactly. By this logic, Obama should "apologize" for calling Trump president-elect the night he won.

@lemon-lime saidYour axcitation would be far more believable if you would have mentioned that fours years eralier. Trump also was named "president-elect", and you di not protest 😲Owens ... posted that Biden wasn't the President-elect "literally and legally".Ha! I could see you coming a mile away. Legality is your stock-in-trade, but now here you are discounting the legitimacy of "literally and legally".

@ponderable saidAnd I did not protest Biden being called the president elect. So what?

Owens points out calling someone president elect before he's elected is inaccurate, and a leftwinger brands her statement "false". It's glaringly obvious there are some truths the left are willing to accept, and some they are not.
True statements that benefit them are acceptable. True statements that do not benefit them are unacceptable.

Let's get this straightNot difficult to accomplish if you would stop twisting it.
The title of the article (you claim to have read) says it all:
Facebook fact-checker forced to issue correction after Candace Owens challenged 'false' ratingIf what she said wasn't true then why did Facebook remove the "false" label?
Could it be because the lable itself was false?
And again, no matter how trivial or egregious no one is expecting the Left to apologize for anything.

@vivify saidCall him anything you want. Call him Napoleon if you want. He will not be the president elect until Dec. 14th.
You lack reading skills if believe the OP "proved" anything.
Biden *is* the president-elect, per the definition of the term. Case closed.
Biden is not "legally" the president-elect, because it's not a legal term and never has been; this is therefore a nonsense point by Owens that does nothing but feed ignorant conservatives more nonsense.

@lemon-lime saidOwens' statement wasn't "false" but neither was it "true". It was misleading in trying to present the practice of calling the winners' of the election as "President elect" as something the "media" thought up this year.Let's get this straightNot difficult to accomplish if you would stop twisting it.

Again, the whole point is trivial and the idea that Facebook is "left wing" amusing to those who actually see the political content on it:
"In the final stretch of the 2020 campaign, the Facebook posts with the most engagement in the United States most days — measured by likes, comments, shares and reactions — are from conservative voices outside the mainstream media: Dan Bongino, Ben Shapiro, David Harris, Jr., Franklin Graham and “Blue Lives Matter,” according to the Facebook-owned tool Crowdtangle. Trump’s personal page also regularly makes the top of the list, in effect allowing him to become a publisher in his own right and navigate around the traditional media.
Left-wing posts make the daily top-25 much less frequently. Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich and the Facebook savvy Occupy Democrats are among the pages that occasionally hit such levels of engagement."

@kevcvs57 saidNot necessarily the majority of states. All states do not have the same number of electoral votes.
Yes exactly the same circumstances whereby the candidate that wins the majority of states is described as the president elect on account of the electorate electing them.
Only a bare faced liar would say different.
And the electoral college has not yet voted.
@lemon-lime saidThe electorate has voted.

The electors have not yet convened, or voted.
